Khasta Moong Daal ki Kachori Recipe

Kashta moong daal is kochori is a popular dish, which Indians eat as morning breakfast on weekends or as snacks at evening. Khasta kochori can be cooked easily at home with recipe I have shared below.

  1. Knead maida with baking powder, oil and salt.
  2. Roughly grind moong daal.
  3. Put some oil to frying pan and add cumin, coriander, red chilli powder, asafetida, garam masala and ginger along with roughly grinded moong daal paste and fry it to on low flame.
  4. Once the masala is ready, stuff it in kneaded maida and give it a shape of kachori.
  5. In a kadai, heat oil on high flame and add kachori for frying. Fry it till the colour of outer layer changes from white to golden brown.
  6. Use tissue to extract extra oil and serve these hot kochori with chutney or tomato sauce.
