Gud ka Anarsa Recipe

Anarsa is a famous dish in Bihar and Jharkhand. This dish is generally cooked on festive occasions. Anarsa is also used as a prasad in teej and other festivals.

  1. Soak 3 cups of rice in a bowl overnight.
  2. Take out soaked rice in a cloth and dry it. Grind it a mixer.
  3. Add jaggery to this mixture.
  4. Mix it well to form a dough. Add some ghee & keep it for 2 hours.
  5. Fry khoya in a kadai for a few minutes.
  6. Make small round hollow balls of the dough and add khoya to it.
  7. Put sesimic seeds and fry it in a medium flame.
  8. Delicious anarsa is ready to eat it!
